We got to tour our new school digs today (I went on the tour even though I didn't actually go to school today). Swank isn't even in it. This place is head and shoulders above just about every other salon in town (we've already been told by a State Board official that it is far and away the nicest school in the state). It doesn't look like a school, it looks like an upscale salon. And it's not even finished yet (if you look back in November, you'll see a post from when we first toured the school and you can see how much work has been done). But it shouldn't be too much longer now. Mirrors are the biggest obstacle left. Based on what we saw today, it will prolly be open by the second week in March, definately by the end of March.
The new digs should be a boon to business. I can envision a lot of people making appointments just to come see the place. And hopefully some of them will become regulars. I'll have more pics when we're officially open.
