My Buddy and Me

Man, he looks just like me. Which is very...something...as I look just like my father (like the faux hawk he's sporting? That's right, I do kids hair too). Much like Emma, his personality is really starting to shine through. He will talk up a storm and he's sharp as a tack. He's my buddy and my life has been forever changed with him (and Emma) in it.

My favorite girl in the whole world

My little girl is getting big. In exactly three weeks, she will be 2 years old. 2 years! Man, where does the time go? She's talking up a storm now and her personality is starting to come to the fore. She's got quite a temper when she doesn't get her way (I'm sure that I am a guilty party to this as I spoil her mercilessly). But she's my favorite girl in the whole world and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

my, um, state of my life address or some such

It's Thursday night, which means the kids are at Heather's (huh? wha..? Seriously people, buy a newspaper. Heather and I are divorcing). This means that I'm home alone, searching for something to do (I can only clean my apartment so many times. It's sparkling clean as it is). Tonight I decided to treat myself to a few movies, namely The Incredible Hulk and the new Indy movie. Still, I miss my children not being here. But I have them this weekend and we are going to have some fun. Football on Saturday (GO POKES!) and, if the weather cooperates, the park on Sunday. Since this whole joint custody thing has reared it's head, I have come to cherish the times I have with my kids. It really sucks not having them here every night.

If all days could be like today

I had a good day, financially speaking. VERY good. Things have been rough the last few weeks, so much so that I have been forced to leave the shop and work from home as I couldn't make my booth rent on a consistent basis. However, today was a good day (to quote the poet Ice Cube). I didn't quite make CEO level money, but I prolly scored close to doctorate level money (and I only worked a total of about 3 hours). Now, if only EVERY day could be this productive.

Getting ready for bed

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but things have been...unusual...around here. Anyhoo, here are some pics of the kids from tonight as we were getting ready for bed.
