Heather took Emery to the circus last week. By all accounts he enjoyed himself immensely (I stayed home with Emma). The picture to the right is after Emery got home. He was hungry so I whipped up a dish of one of his favorites: grilled cheese sammiches (happens to be one of my favorites too). Have you ever seen someone fall asleep while eating? I was sitting at the table while Emery was eating and happened to glance over at him. He would take a bite of food, then close his eyes for a minute or two then wake up to finish chewing his food. Oddly enough, the minute I put him to bed, he was wired for sound, laughing and singing.
